More changes at Translink, as another senior position is eliminated.
David Beckley, vice-president of rail, leaving at the end of August. His duties are being divvied up among other staff.
Translink says it’s saved $4.4-million in annual salaries, pensions and benefits by eliminating about 30 positions over the last four years.
Beckley was in charge of the Compass Card and the fare gates project until last March.
He was also involved in the Evergreen rapid transit project.
A month ago, Translink dumped two other executives, Bob Paddon and Doug Kelsey.
