RCMP say they haven’t been able to identify the suspect yet in a brutal attack on a senior in her south Surrey home.
The 70-year-old woman is still in hospital suffering from “significant” injuries.
The woman had just returned home on Wednesday, on 28 Avenue near 168 Street, when a man broke in, carrying a weapon.
He tied her up, demanded cash and other items, and then sexually and physically assaulted her.
Cpl. Scotty Schumann says they’re still going with only a vague description.
“We’re looking for a male who is 20 to 30 years old, about 5’8″ to six feet tall.”
Schumann says people should always be thinking about their personal and home security.
