Ad executives looking for a celebrity to endorse their product can’t do much better than actor Liam Neeson.
On Tuesday, the marketing research firm Nielsen launched an offering that ranks celebrities according to their sales influence. The rating system is entitled “N-Score” and it evaluates celebrities who have appeared in commercials during the first three months of the year, and then grades the stars based on a variety of factors including public awareness and likeability.
According to the Nielsen “N-Score” leaderboard, the Irish actor Liam Neeson has scored the top spot. He earned a so-called “N-Score” of 94, sharing the lead with another Irish actor: former James Bond star Pierce Brosnan. Despite the tie, Nielsen deemed Neeson the winner in terms of influence over consumers.
