Many family members of a young man who died after a weekend stabbing at Whistler have now heard more details about the events leading up to their devastating loss.
A publication ban prevents us from telling you the names of the three 17-year olds charged with manslaughter or the circumstances surrounding why and how 19-year old Luka Gordic died, but bail has now been denied to one of the boys until their next court appearance on June 10th (9:30am).
Outside the courthouse in North Vancouver, the victim’s uncle, Gianni Buono, says his family will come back for another bail hearing involving a fourth suspect.
“We’re prepared to stay the course and stay together, stay strong. We’ve got a tremendous amount of community support. You know, we’re going to see this through.”
The fourth suspect, Arvin Val Golic has been charged with manslaughter. His bail hearing is set for tomorrow.
