A number of ground beef products are being recalled from Vancouver’s Killarney Market for possible E.Coli.
Owner John Chiang says fortunately no one has reported getting sick from the beef — he gets from multiple importers.
“Some of the beef is BC beef, some of the beef is hormone free beef, some of the beef is Canada grade A beef from Alberta.”
No clear idea where the contamination came from yet.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency reminds people the food may not look or smell spoiled but can still cause nausea, vomiting, cramps and diarrhea.
“These were products that were from May the 5th best before to May the 11th best before dates.”
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency warns anyone who purchased it to throw it away.
