Premier Christy Clark is expected to address the media about the recent violence in Surrey Tuesday afternoon.
The city and its police department have been grasping with how to deal with two dozen shootings there and in Delta in the past several weeks.
Just this morning, police were called to a report of shots fired at 94 Avenue and 124 Street in Surrey.
At the same time, a man who’d been stabbed in the chest checked himself into the local hospital.
It’s unclear whether this is related to what police have called the ongoing turf war.
Police have also installed tower cams in North Delta as a temporary deterrent.
The premier, and Mayor Linda Hepner, are set to speak at 2 p.m.
