One local Boston Marathon runner is just one step closer to her Olympic dreams coming true.
Lissa Zimmer has been training in marathons since 2012, and Monday as she ran the Boston Marathon she become one step closer to making her olympic qualifying dreams a reality.
“The olympic trial standard is 243, being that close to the standard running 244.56 I felt so emotional.”
