If tickling the ivories tickles your fancy, the streets of Vancouver are now your playground with today’s launch of this year’s Keys to the Streets.
Guy Pellerin was on the False Creek seawall at 8 this morning, arriving even even before the person was there with the keys to unlock the piano, placed overnight under the Cambie Bridge
“I’ve been waiting for this for months – just because being outside and playing outside – there’s nothing like it. You can’t carry a piano around right.”
Pellerin was playing one of 10 pianos around Vancouver, from Stanley Park up to Main and 21st
The painted pianos are open from 7am to 11pm daily until the end of August, after which they will be donated.
