Denike and Woo removed from November ballot

The NPA has removed two school trustees from the party’s civic ballot for the November election.
Executive Co coordinator Natasha Westover says the Board of Directors supports its caucus decision to expel Ken Denike and Sophia Woo.
The pair suggested last week the Vancouver School Board’s new transgender policy could impact international enrolment and property values.

“Not a lot of consultation has been going on, the caucus meets every week to have an open and frank discussion, and go over issues. often they are not in attendance, often we don’t know what events they are going to or what’s happening, until after they are happening, the press conference that was held last week is a prime example of that.”

The pair could still run as independents.
