RCMP say there was one person in a car that went flying off the dock and plunged into the water early this morning at the Gabriola Island ferry terminal.
It happened around four in the morning.
The vehicle had been travelling at the high rate of speed.
Unclear if it was a man or woman inside.
The body has not yet been recovered.
