Parks Canada has confirmed they have retrieved a body from a crevasse in Yoho National Park.
 
Rescue crews had to shovel through several metres of snow to reach the body.
 
Mark Taylor, a City of Abbotsford employee, fell into the crevasse seven days ago.
 
He became separated from fellow skiers during some bad weather. 
  
The same weather delayed the rescue operation for days.
