Potentially more trouble for the BC Liberals.

The so-called "ethnic strategy" fallout continues with BC's Information and Privacy Commissioner launching an investigation.

Elizabeth Denham says she'll hold a preliminary investigation into the ethnic strategy, including alleged information- sharing between public servants and the BC Liberal Party.

Denham says her office will review all relevant records and meet with parties involved in order to determine if a "formal" investigation is needed.

She also wants to know if personal e-mail accounts were used in an effort to evade access to information laws.

She's warning public servants that personal e-mail is accessible if used for making public policy.

All you NDP'er's are living in the twilight zone. If Adrian Dix wins government, he will be voted out in 2017. If you think this is good economics, may the bird of paradise fly up your noses. Very comical.

BY_7463 AND KEN280, the readers consultant, a man with a briefcase 50 miles away from home.

    SUIT YOURSELF!

Once Brian Topp arrives in B.C., Adrian Dix will be picked on by the media about Topp's scandal in Saskatchewan when he was deputy chief of staff to former premier NDP Roy Romanow of Saskatchewan, on the botched sale of a government crown corporation.

What ever happens and if Dix wins government, I am taking what Ken said to commonsense and that Dix will only be in for one term.

Nice to see that both of you are blowing gaskets on a regular basis.

As I told you both before, but both of you are just too stubborn to listen.

THE RACE IN LIFE IS A LONG ONE. IT IS ONLY WITH YOURSELF.

YOUR CHANCES ARE ONLY AT HALF MAST. SO IS EVERYONE ELSES.

BOTH OF YOU DO NOT PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH. YOU SAY ONE THING HERE AND DO THE EXACT OPPOSITE WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR HIP POCKET.

HEALTH IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE HIP POCKET.

@joes_2868 I would lke to see Dix pay back his severence package he got when he was caught lying and had to resign before he was given the boot.

@joes_2868 Hey Joes...is SUIT YOURSELF the best you can come up with? I've noticed you're using it a lot these days.

I actually feel sorry for all of you in the Liberal Party.

The NDP may only get one term based on your comments, but the LIberal party will go the way of the Socreds,

And, how long has Christie been Premier??? Don't worry joes, it won't be long now, everything will be fine.

Bhappy: Glad to see that you agree with Ken280, the readers consultant, a man with a briefcase 50 miles away from home, that if the NDP win government, it will only be for one term.

@joes_2868 Explain why a one term government is bad?.
    2. miltw posted on 03/20/2013 08:29 AM
@joes_2868 As long as it gets rid of the present cult I can settle for 4 years to see something happen. In 4 years perhaps ,if the NDP fail there will be a new party to pick up the pieces.
Or perhaps the voters can hire an actual management firm , set reasonable salary's and retirement packages and get a beautiful province back.
And make them accountable to their bosses at the risk of instant termination with no golden bonus awarded for failure...

JD_9814: Remembering what happened when former premier Bill Bennett of the Social Credit party defeated former NDP premier Dave Barrett, and former Progressive Conserative premier, Mike Harris, in Ontario defeating former NDP premier Bob Rae in Ontario. Both had to take drastic and unpopular tough decisions for the long term gain.
If Adrian Dix wins government, he will a province that has a AAA- credit rating and a province that is a "HAVE" province.
Will he still have these two items if he went to an election in 2017?
These two items just don't come overnight. Saskatchewan is the most prosperous province in Canada and still does not have a AAA credit rating.
    1. JD_9814 posted on 03/19/2013 05:45 PM
@joes_2868 Would you not agree that a new government would expose inappropriate conduct of a former government - assuming such exists - and that would be in the long term best interest of the Province?
  7. joes_2868 posted on 03/19/2013 05:58 PM
JD_9814: Dix says that he will have an inquiry on the payment of fees re Birk and Vasi. He says that now, and if he wins government, he will then say it will cost too much money to have an inquiry.
The same can be said for Gordon Campbell before he won government. He said he would have a public inquiry on the fast ferry scandal. After the election, he said the inquiry would cost too much money.
Items like these are beyond our control.
