People living in Panorama Ridge left a meeting with Surrey's mayor with some hope a plan is coming after four bodies have been found on the same road this year.

Bob Campbell with the local ratepayers association says people voiced their frusterations to Surrey Mayor Dianne Watts and the RCMP.

"The mayor said she was going to come up with a plan and come back to us with that plan and we said that we would be totally co-operative."

Campbell says the focus should not be just be on Colebrook road.

"It is not just an issue of solving what is happening on Colebrook road you know we didn't get any pushback on that we got you know we hear ya and we are going to put a plan together to help you so we really hope that happens."

However Campbell admits if the plan tabled by Watts is either delayed or doesn't address resident's concerns then there is little they can do.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has identified the latest two bodies found on Colebrook yesterday, the families are now being informed.

The bodies are the third and fourth found on Colebrook road in the last six weeks.

On January 26th, 2011, I was given an audience with the City of Surrey's Crime Reduction Strategies Unit, and presented them with a number of solutions, along with the following strategy paper - "A New Crime Paradigm".

It is of considerable note that out of the more than 100 recipients of this document, including dozens directly involved in Surrey's official anti-crime unit, exactly zero have offered a comment or reply in any form.

Now they are scrambling looking for "crime-reduction" solutions that have been sitting on their own desks, intentionally ignored for the past 14 months.
