Falcon says he "absolutely" supports Premier Clark

Liberal MLA Kevin Falcon is back at the Legislature today for the first time since he raised questions about Premier Christy Clark in a newspaper interview last week.

Falcon had suggested Clark overstepped by promising to build the world's tallest wood building in Prince George when the Treasury Board had made it clear there was not enough money for the project.

Today the former Finance Minister says Clark has his support.

"She does, absolutely. The Premier has my support, the ministers from Prince George have my support they've done an exceptional job over the years and as I said, I was very distressed to read that people were trying to infer there was an implied or outright criticism, that was absolutely not my intention."

Falcon denies he's trying to distance himself from his former leadership rival as he heads into political retirement.

      Question #1
Which BC political party do you support at this time?
      BC New Democrats 50 %
      BC Liberals 24 %
      BC Conservatives 15.5 %
      BC Greens 10.5 %
      Other/Undecided 7 %
      No Answer 1.5 %

Joey, seems that bar has been reached according to this poll. The Libs are headed to being a stain on the underwear of BC.

Yep, what a swell guy. Nope, never has he spoken an ill word towards anyone. I'm sure he's totally happy about leaving politics. I'm sure his word means gold to British Columbians everywhere. I speak in jest of course.

      @bctaxpayer Did you miss the 90's ? ? ?
Three Dipper Premiers RESIGNED . . . because of Irregularities and Criminal investigations. That's THREE . . . and Dix was involved in ONE OF THEM.
And you and obviously almost half of BC voters surveyed that it will be DIFFERENT THIS TIME?

Einstein said "doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result . . . is the definition of insanity" ! ! !

      FOOL ME ONCE . . . Shame on ME ! ! !

      FOOL ME TWICE . . . I MUST BE FROM BC ! ! !

      Welcome back to the 90's . . .

@BY_7463 When you have little hair, you make do. Now, do not use Donald Trump as an example because, let's face it, we don't think that is hair.

He has to say that. He's a smart politician and he knows that Gordon Campbell killed his career, and that Christy Clark buried it.
    1. Dale - left coast posted on 03/15/2013 09:50 AM
@SlimP_9860 I would suggest Slim . . . that I suspect Kevin will be the premier of BC in 2017 . . . after 4 years of Socialist destruction in British Columbia a new political party of Common Sense will arise . . .
In case you didn't notice . . . BC has just had one of its BEST DECADES in its History . . . and Campbell gets most of the Credit.
      You don't understand today . . . but you will understand 4 years from now . . .
