A shocking discovery for police in Surrey.

Not one but two bodies have been found on Colebrook Road near 125-A Street, close to where two murder victims were found in late January and late February.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team was called out to the location after a uniformed officer on a patrol of the area discovered the body of a man on the side of the road.  Shortly after 6am a police dog searching the area found a second body - that of  woman.

Police are still trying to identify the pair and don't know if these killings are releted to the ones earlier in the year.

On February 24th, the remains of a Delta man were found in the 121-hundred block of Colebrook.

29-year-old Amritpal Saran was known to police.

On January 29th, the body of gangster Jaskaran Singh Sandhu was found a few blocks away on Colebrook.

The 26-year-old had survived a previous attempt on his life.

This is getting just as bad as certain parts of Mexico.

@lindsaym_7673 I frequent Mexico, and Surrey is in no way like Mexico,,,,,YET. Mazatlan/Culiacan are likely the most dangerous cities in Mexico as it has always been the hub of Mexican Mafia, and they are not nice people. You get bad vibes and shivers just stopping for gas. Guadalajara is a real good one to stay away from, too. Little towns like Ajijic, Lk Chapala, Colima, and anywhere in Jalisco are worthy of not visiting. As I type, no where on the west coast is the day at the beach it used to be. We do enjoy one difference. We have a police force that tries. In Mexico, 50% of the police are the crooks. We will compare when the SE Asians start hanging headless corpses' off freeway overpasses by the dozen!

@lindsaym_7673 Completely different! This has only become a dumping ground. Not necessarily a murder scene.

When we were kids, we used to go down there(Colebrook Rd.) to watch the submarine races. Bird watchers were prevalent too! Why don't the police set up cameras, as there are only about 3 ways of getting onto Colebrook, and if anyone approaches, send a few cars down the hill? There could be more dead ones than they have found.

@EbN David Eby and the BCCLU would not like CCTV cameras.

@EbN Wow!! I havn't heard "the submarine races" for a lot of years. You must be almost as old as I am. We used to go watch "The Races" at Little Mountain or on the dyke on River Road between #2 and #1 road in Richmond. You could drive almost from one end to the other. Lots of room to park. Thanx for the memories!!!!!

These folks are victims of cannabis prohibition. When will we smarten up and relies cannabis prohibition causes more problems than it solves.
This needs to be treated like the the medical problem it is.

40 years of cannabis prohibition. How's it working for you?

@MichaelD_10 It is a little premature to jump to that conclusion . . .
