Liberal MLA Kash Heed isn't saying whether caucus members will be asking Premier Christy Clark to step down.

But Heed says people will be asking for an explanation about certain things.

"People I hope, will maintain what we've discussed and call people to the carpet and hold these people accountable."

Heed says there have been discussions with some of his colleagues about what needs to be done to keep the Liberal government in power.

He says many are concerned.

As for whether Christy Clark should step down?

Heed didn't answer yes or no.

He does say he'd like to see an accountable leader in place.

This all comes after a leaked memo revealed Liberal staffers wanted to use government funds to get votes of ethnic groups.

Meanwhile, Clark has called a cabinet meeting for Sunday at 4pm in Vancouver.

Sounds like Mr Heed is being very careful about what he says so no one puts words in his mouth.
    Smart man.
    What's he doing in politics?

I've been giving this some thought and am now wondering how it is that not a single one of the MLA's right up to the premier herself could have known about this. How is that she is surprised by this if this was going on in her own office and was part of BC Liberal Party strategy to gain votes from the ethnic community?

How is it that Christy or Rich Coleman were not aware of this?

I'm really finding that hard to believe at this point that no one on the government side running for re-election would not be aware of this.

    Thoughts?

@WizardOron Of course they all knew. A pizza, a few 6 packs on a Friday night, brain phart suggestions, and the ethnic vote fell out of the heavens. Campbell snuggled up to various immigrant groups, and Christy greets them with open arms. From the Blueboy to having dinner etc. with Bassi / Virk, don't tell me the people at the helm are not looking for support from everyone, other than the majority. It appears to me, the 'Majority' has said to hell with crooked Liberals.

@WizardOron Coleman and risky Clark and de Jong and more MLA members were all part of this scandal. If they say they were not aware are some people lieing?

I personally know Mr. Heed and can confirm the man is top notch. Hes' been a beat cop, too, a chief, try to imagine what he has witnessed and been through in his years with the police (forces). Now let look at CC and make a comparison. Cheated her way yet didnt finish university, lied about her work overseas, slung beer at the Blue Boy...etc. etc.etc. ...I know who Id be a lot more inclined to agree with, and, more over respect....

Mr. Heed thank you for speaking up for not only the people of BC but also the ethnic community you personally belong to, you must be absolutely embarrased and ashamed to be part of a government trying to use your people as a tool to get elected. Surprisingly, your culture unknow to the dummy are not ethnic, they are actually proud Canadians who built this county and want to be recognized as such, not a bunch of misphits the government can capitolize on....

Word has it the RCMP has initiated an investigation and based on the announcement of an emergency cabinet meeting, it is the beginning of the end.

I have no use for Heed, considering him just another arrogant cop that was a failure at bullying. There is a possibilitly I am wrong, nevertheless I wonder what CC has to say on Sunday? This could be very interesting. Everyday in BC politics is SNL.
