Abbotsford Police are warning the public about a convicted child-lurer who's just been released from prison.

23-year-old Jeffrey Allan Goddard had served a six month sentence for breaching probation restrictions after serving time for impersonating a police officer and luring a child over the internet.

Police say he has a history of failing to comply with court orders.

He has has previously used the telephone, internet, email, chat rooms, Facebook and other social media to lure young teens.
