Volunteers build fire victims new home
METRO VANCOUVER/CKNW (AM980)

11/21/2012

Firefighters, police and volunteers in Abbotsford  are working to rebuild the home of an elderly couple  who lost their home in a Remembrance Day fire.

Bill Connor and his wife Annie are both in their 80's, and they didn't have insurance.

The fire broke out around ten o' clock that morning, while the Connors were out having a cup of coffee.

@Ken280 This is what it is all about - helping people in need if indeed you are ablee to do so

It is unfortunate that Obese American blogger thinks this is a very bad idea

Thanks so much to the police and fire volunteers who are taking time out of their already hectic days to show compassion and back it up with hard work for these old folks. Community volunteers are a blessing that we know exit in all our towns and cities. Major thanks to all who are helping this old couple!
