The Provincial Government has announced the new Port Mann bridge will open to eight lanes of traffic on Saturday, December 1st and tolling will commence after one free week, on Saturday, December 8th.

The Ministry of Transportation says the transition to the 8-lane bridge opening will happen gradually with Highway 1 westbound traffic shifted onto the new bridge overnight on Saturday, November 17th.

Westbound traffic will remain in a two-lane configuration until December 1st, as crews complete widening and improvements through the Cape Horn interchange, at the north end of the bridge.

December 1st will also mark the completion of interchange improvements and highway widening east of the Port Mann bridge construction, including more than 20 kilometres new HOV lanes extending to Langley.

This unfair tolling system that risky Clark and the BC lie berals have implemented will surely be the demise of this corrupt party.

@bctaxpayer Have you asked your buddy, Airhead Dix whether or not he will change the tolling? Or will he or Harry Bains just pass that on to Translink?

      Ask them.

You won't because you put them on a pedestal and really do not like to be proven wrong. But, I encourage you to ask him. And if his answer leads to a "maybe, maybe not" answer, ask them to simple answer yes or no.

@bctaxpayer My question was: " Have you asked your buddy, Airhead Dix whether or not he will change the tolling? Or will he or Harry Bains just pass that on to Translink?"

And you did not answer. You are taking fantastic lessons from Airhead Dix. Not answering questions and answering questions with a question.

I will ask again... Have you asked your buddy, Airhead Dix whether or not he will change the tolling? Or will he or Harry Bains just pass that on to Translink?

@bctaxpayer So you are afraid to get answers from him now? Step up and ask him the hard questions. What you are doing is putting your faith in a guy who is lying to you.

It is the blind leading the blind. You are an example of why democracy can often fail.

@bctaxpayer Good idea. Ask questions after the election.

bctaxpayer: May the bird of paradise fly up your nose. Please give the readers some concrete answers why Adrian Dix will be premier. NOW CONCETE ANSWERS AS ADRIAN DIX HAS NOT LISTED OUT HIS PLATFORM YET. Readers don't want to hear what the Liberals have done or not done. Give answers strictly concerning the NDP. Also you are avoiding the important question. Please explain why you would never take back a former spouse from a previous divorce to re-create the nightmare, but are willing to do it with government. Just read the NDP consumer affair reports of past B.C. NDP governments.
Adrian Dix is bringing in another scandal artist in the name of Brian Topp to be the NDP campaign manger. Brian is well known in Saskatchewan for doing the same type of whitewashing legal documents as Adrian Dix did.
Past consumer affairs scandals of the BC NDP included Adrian Dix, Mike Farnworth, Glen Clark, Robert Strachen, Elizabeth Cull, Andrew Petter, Dave Stupich, Dave Zirnhelt, Carole James, Ujjal Dosanjh, Mike Harcourt, Bob Williams, Moe Sihota, Dave Barrett, Joy McPhail, and Graham Lea.
And bctayer, who ever does form government, REMEMBER THAT CHRISTY CLARK WILL STILL BE THE MLA FOR VANCOUVER-POINT GREY!
