Major fire burning in Maple Ridge right now.

At least four homes are going up in flames in the Silver Ridge development.

Scott Newman took a look at the fire from the CKNW Eye in the Sky.

"There is one two, three, four houses still in flames, big smoke coming out of Maple Ridge...fire crews aren't spraying it--this is too much to even bother with water on...I see one, two more houses that haven't caught fire on this block, and a third across a driveway"

Five fire trucks are on the scene.

These homes are under construction.

No word of anyone being hurt.
