Of the 137 people charged in connection with last year's Stanley Cup riot, just three remain on the run from authorities.

Vancouver Police Constable Brian Montague says the trio is believed to be south of the border.

"The first is a 21-year old from Idaho, the second is a 21-year old from Seattle and the other is a 20-year old from Vancouver, but currently studying in the United States."

Montague adds police and crown counsel are discussing extradition for the trio.

The three have been flagged at the border and will be arrested if they try to enter Canada.

If we have reciprocating agreements with neighboring states for speeding tickets, we should certainly have that for arrest warrants. If Bin Laden was hiding in Canada, would the US really wait until he crosses the border to arrest him???

@opq No. But this is not Bin Laden type of crime and speeding tickets are administrative only.

You can only hope that at some point in the future these pounks have a need to come back to Canada - and find to their surprise that they aren't exactly greeted with open arms !

For these 3 duds to avoid Canada, for what really amounts to a petty crime during the NHL riots, shows their lack of IQ. The 2 from the states, must realize, they me be castrated for a life of restricted international travel if they don't volunteer themselves. And the Canadian going to school in the states runs the risk of really cooking his silly ass. I thought your average Canadian had more brains. Good luck Gentlemen!
