A single vehicle motorcycle crash on Marine Way in Burnaby Saturday has left the rider dead.
RCMP Sergeant Dwayne Beckerleg says the crash happened just after 5:30pm in an area where the road curves.
"Ambulance Service attended, and transported the man immediately to Royal Columbian Hospital, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital."
Beckerleg says they're still in the initial stages of the investigation, and are unsure whether alcohol or speed were factors.
The man's name and age haven't yet been released as officers still have to notify his family members.
