Another substantial earthquake has been recorded off the coast of Alaska.

At 6:56am, a 5.6 quake tremblor rumbled through about 80 miles northwest of Dixon Extrance.

There is no tsunami danger.

It was felt in Haida Gwaii but there was no damage.

It is likely an aftershock from the 7.5 quake off the south coast of Alaska on January 5th.
