The proposal to expand the Trans Mountain Pipeline, which ends in Bunaby, has gotten bigger.

Kinder Morgan says it has now signed up 13 canadian companies who want to ship oil along its pipeline and onto Asia-Pacific markets.

Officials say that means its planned capacity has grown from 750-thousand barrels a day to 890-thousand barrels.

But Kennedy Stewart, MP for Burnaby-Douglas, says his constituents are worried about more tankers in Burrard Inlet and a decrease in property values.

"It's a fairly gutsy move for Kinder Morgan to do this. I think they're really going to have a lot of opponents (to) this as they move through the next couple of years."

If Trans Mountain gets federal approval, the expansion is set to be completed by late 2017.

Harper, will ram this through no matter what. The Oil companies paid for this! I love this spin coming from you know who! The Free Enterprisers that will say you want your cars and heat your homes but you do not want the oil! yes we want the oil for us not to build these pipelines and just get shaft if they break and destroy BC,then sell all we have overseas.
