A woman is in hospital after being stabbed during a domestic dispute in North Delta Friday night.
It happened in a home in the 9400 block of 116th street.
Sgt. Sharlene Brooks says the suspect did not respond to police commands, so he was tasered.
"He's been medically cleared, and remains in police custody at this time. The Delta Police Major Crimes Section is continuing with the investigation."
The woman is in stable condition, but police describe her injuries as "very serious."
