The Integrated Homicide Investigation team is confirming it was a targeted shooting that claimed the life of a man in New Westminster yesterday.
They are also releasing the victims name.
He was 32 year old Sam Balani.
Police say he was renting the basement suite where his body was found.
The shooting happened early yesterday morning in the 500 block of Colby street.
