The minor hockey coach accused of tripping two boys after a game has pleaded guilty to assault.

Video surfaced online back in June, showing Martin Tremblay tripping a player during the post-game handshake at UBC Thunderbird Arena, which knocked over another player.

One boy broke his wrist.

His lawyer, Bob Bellows, says he has written a letter of apology.

Tremblay will re-appear in January for a pre-sentence report.

It's called sportsmanship, and if the coach doesn't have any, how will the players learn to have any? Nice role model.
