Thousands are expected to attend the full regimental funeral Tuesday for the Surrey RCMP officer who was killed last week when his cruiser was involved in a crash.

The funeral for 28-year-old Constable Adrian Oliver is taking place at the "Langley Event Centre" on 200th Street.

Funeral proceedings being at one o'clock.

RCMP spokesperson Sergeant Peter Thiessen says the public is welcome but warns seating will be limited.

"Well we certainly don't want to discourage anyone from attending and showing their respect to Constable Oliver and his family.  However it is being live-streamed on the internet."

Thiessen says police officers from as far away as Australia will be in attendance.
