Traffic is a nightmare on southeast Marine Drive near the Knight Street Bridge, as Vancouver firefighters mop up after a blaze in a strip mall.

CKNW reporter Jordan Armstrong is there:

"The fire began just before 2pm and at one point, thick, black smoke could be seen from Richmond and much of South East Vancouver. Fortunately, Vancouver firefighters have managed to knock it down. No one was hurt, but how the fire started has not been told to us. The business involved is called "Home Max"...it is a kitchen cabinet and countertop facility."
