Last night he played coy about it, but this morning former Vancouver Mayor Sam Sullivan has announced a Friday morning news conference where he wants the BC Liberal nomination in Vancouver-False Creek.

There are rumours former MLA Lorne Mayencourt will also seek the nomination.

The riding is currently held by retiring Liberal Mary McNeil.

Park Board Commissioner Constance Barnes faces a challenge from Matt Toner for the NDP nomination.

A very good choice in comparison to the likes of NDP's Shane Simpson, Bruce Ralston, and Leonard Krog . Three dead beats.

@joes_2868 My God Man! He was a Piss poor Mayor! I wonder if he still on his addiction research. I will never forget Sam's strike, with the support of the NPA dominated council. Susan Anton is also trying to run for the Liberals. NPA the Liberal farm team on the move looking for bigger fish to fry.
