The standoff at the Starlight Casino that has closed the Queensborough Bridge and Highway 91A all morning may be over.
Moments ago several shots rang out and the gunman is down just outside the Casino entrance.
His condition is not yet known.
The standoff began shortly before 6am.
A woman who was with the man at the start of the incident left him and is safe with police.
Highway 91-A is blocked completely right now so that means no access to the Queensborough Bridge north or southbound.
