Police are looking for a man who abducted and beat a woman over the weekend in Maple Ridge.
RCMP say the incident happened after the woman agreed to help a man who said he needed help getting his car started.
When she agreed to help, he pulled out a weapon and forced the woman to drive her car out of the area.
He started beating her, she eventually managed to escape and was treated at hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Police are looking for a man in his 20's about 5-feet-9 inches tall with a medium build, a dark complexion and a few days of facial stubble.
