A guilty plea has been entered by the young man who killed a Delta teenager two years ago.

The parents of the victim, Laura Szendrei, left the courthouse in tears this morning after learning her killer will be sentenced for second degree murder early in the new year.

He can't be named because he was 17 at the time of the attack in Mackie Park in September of 2010.

He was arrested a few months later.

He's now 20-years-old and the crown is seeking he be treated as an adult.

The sentencing is slated to last at least three days, starting February 18th.

Good police work - We should know his name - Hopefully if he is tried as an adult we will know - people need to know so when the system lets him out early because he is not criminally responsible then they can keep their children away from this monster........

@AnneH_4 Your totally right Anne. We need to know if he is ever allowed out because he randomly killed an innocent girl,Laura and the monster may strike again when he gets out.
