Canucks re-sign Burrows to four year deal

The Vancouver Canucks have signed Alex Burrows to a four-year, 18 million dollar deal.


The 31-year old left winger collected 52 points last season, along with 90 penalty minutes.


He also set a career high for most game-winning goals in a season at seven.. ranking 11th in the league in this category.  


Burrows signed with team in 2005 as a free agent.

    Am I missing something here!?! Both sides are crying poor but just before the lockout these guys sign a deal for 4.5mil a year to get in just before the rules change. It is no wonder if you look at the poll results that most people don't care. A pox on both their houses!!!!

      @noparty Sign them up before there is an increase in the cap. Now he cannot demand more money.

    You see,this is exactly what the nap will fix in2013. This "proves" that the rich are getting richer and that their "share" of income is growing. And at the expense of the poor, some Dix would say. Let the "redistribution" of income start with the Canucks. You mean the players would leave? Bot, no one else, of course. The nap argument is tat burrows income comes at someone else's expense
