Abbotsford Police are investigating an early morning shooting.

Constable Ian Macdonald says, "this morning around 2:30 abbotsford police received a call from a neighbour in the 2500-block of Bradner Road.  He reported hearing several shots fired.  Several of our patrol units attended the area and we located an individual, 24 year old man, who'd been shot in the arm."

Macdonald says the victim is in stable condition in hospital.

He says it appears two groups of men came together at that location prior to the shooting, but they don't know why.

No arrest have been made yet.
