Premier says NDP pipeline plan "nothing but politics"

Premier Christy Clark is back at work after a summer vacation, and is immediately returning fire from her nemesis Adrian Dix.

Clark says the NDP leader's call to abandon the federal review of the Enbridge Northern Gateway and launch a BC review is nothing but politics, since dix has already said he opposes the project.

"It make absolutely no sense and you know it's another example of how those guys just wanna play politics all the time, they don't care about being consistent, they don't care about being principled, they care about playing politics, and that is not going to serve British Columbians' interests well enough."

Clark insists the pipeline must meet the five conditions she has laid out including a fair share of the benefits for BC, or it will not happen, but the NDP says the premier has no way of enforcing those conditions.

Chisty Clark is all about politics. Her inability to take a clear stand for or against the pipeline is a failure of leadership.

@ChrisM_18 She has hit the nail on the head about Dix. He is firmly against it, he won't do it, but let's have a pricey study anyway. Duh.

@bctaxpayer So, your point? You seem to ramble on a lot. How about your thoughts as to whether or not Dix is playing politics.

He is! Period. As is Christy. Dix has the easiest job in the world. Nice and cushy. Pretty easy to stand in front of a camera and make claims. He has one hell of a long list he plans to do in his first year. He has yet to make a true priority. He has yet to say where the money will truly come from. He has yet to answer questions properly and fully.

There's one too many Dix in politics.

Remember, this is a Premier who "doesn't want to get involved with the politics". Shows she has a really clear understanding of the job of premier.
Remember the old news video clip of Federal Liberal supporter Christy Clark in a crowd with Brian Mulroney at the podium, and she works her way in front of him and starts yelling "liar! liar! liar!" at him every time he opened his mouth? I wonder if she realizes that is exactly what the majority of BC voters think of her, every time she opens her mouth?
