After decades of performing, April Wine continues to draw devoted fans across Canada and around the world. The current lineup now includes Brian Greenway, Myles Goodwyn, Roy “Nip” Nichol and Richard Lanthier. This spring saw Roy "Nip" Nichol replace Blair Mackay at the drums. Nip is from Cornwall, Ontario and has been playing drums since the age of 15. He is also a great singer and having four vocalists in the band at the same time is a new experience for the legendary band.
A new April Wine studio CD will be released later in the year. The last studio release was Roughly Speaking in 2006. This new recording will be the first of the long awaited Vile Series. There will be three CD's in the series and the group plans to release all three within the next two years.
Fans can also expect a few surprises from the band’s live performances this year!
