Canadian linebacker Kevin Eiben is retiring after a 12-year CFL career.

The Delta native played 11 years with the Toronto Argonauts before spending last season with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Eiben, who was recognized as an East Division all-star five times and a C-F-L all-star on three occasions, recorded 722 defensive tackles over his career, the second-highest total by a Canadian player in CFL history.

Eiben won a Grey Cup with the Argos in 2004.
