The Phoenix Coyotes scored a pair of goals and Mike Smith tunred aside 29 shots as the Phoenix Coyotes doubled the listless Vancouver Canucks 4-2.

Antoine Vermette and Mikkael Boedker also scored for the Coyotes, who earned their first road win in regulation this season at Vancouver's expense.

Jason Garrison and Henrik Sedin replied for Vancouver, who are now off until Saturday when they face the Los Angeles Kings.

 Vancouver has now dropped three straight games at home.
