Vancouver's Rebecca Marino has announced she's taking a break from her pro tennis career. 

Marino says it wasn't an easy decision but there were ''a number of factors'' that played into it.  Marino told the New York Times last week that she has been overwhelmed by harsh comments made about her on social media.

What bothered her most she said were messages to her Twitter account sent by people who had lost money betting on her matches.
