The Canadian Football League has named its Coach of the Year finalists and Mike Benevides of the BC Lions has made the final ballot.
Coach Benny is coming off a historic season for the Lions equaling the club mark for wins by a first-year head coach with 13 as well as setting a new franchise standard with 8 home wins.
Calgary’s John Hufnagel and Toronto’s Scott Milanovich are the other candidates as chosen by the Football Reporters of Canada.
The winner will be announced at the Coach of the Year luncheon on Thursday, February 28th during this year’s CFL Congress.
