Roberto Luongo turned aside 27 of 28 shots during the game and all four shootout attempts to lead the Vancouver Canucks over the Chicago Black Hawks 2-1.

Alex Edler provided the goal from the Canucks in regulation while Patrick Kane equalized for the Hawks midway through the third period.

Luongo is now 2-0-2 on the season and the Canucks move to first in the Northwest Divsion with a 4-2-2 record.

Vancouver now hit the road for two games beginning Monday night in Edmonton versus the Oilers.
