Milos Raonic has opened up the Davis Cup tie against Spain with a 6-7, 6-4. 6-4, 6-4 win over Albert Ramos.

Raonic never lost on serve to Ramos and only gave up a mini-break in the tiebreaker to Ramos to drop the opening set.

Frank Dancevic now will take the court versus Marcel Granollers to wrap up day one.

Canada has never advanced to the quarter final in Davis Cup history.
