With Ryan Kesler still a few weeks away from returning to the Canucks lineup, Head Coach Alain Vigneault shuffled his lines in preparation for Wednesday night's game at home to the Calgary Flames.
With Zack Kassian moving to the Sedin line after his recent run of fine play to atart the season, Vigneault has tapped Alex Burrows to centre the second line and hopefully provide some secondary scoring to the club.
This will be Burrows' first ever foray into the middle of the ice, but he is unfazed by the responsibilty that playing centre ice will bring.
'I skate deep into my zone when I play with the Twins so my responsibilities will be different but nothing that I haven't seen before,' said Burrows.
Vancouver line combos:
D. Sedin - H. Sedin - Kassian
Higgins - Burrows - Hansen
Raymond - Schroeder - Weise
Malhotra - Lapierre - Volpatti
Jordan Schroeder makes his NHL debut after being drafted in teh first round four years ago.
Vancouver will look for their first win of the season tomorrow night against the still winless Calgary Flames.
