The San Francisco 49ers are off to the Super Bowl for their sixth time in franchise history after a 28-24 come from behind win over the Atlanta Falcons.

The Niners eliminated a 17-0 deficit thanks to the work of quaerterback Colin Kaepernick.  Kaepernick was an efficient 16 of 21 passing for 233 yards and a touchdown.  Frank Gore carried the ball 18 times for 80 yards and two second half touchdown to help San Francisco get back to the Super Bowl for the first time in 18 seasons.

San Francisco will now await the winner of the New England vs. Baltimore AFC title game to find out who they will face in Super Bowl 47 in New Orleans.  The Super Bowl takes place on February 3rd.
