The NHL and the Player's Association have now both ratified their new 10 year Collective Bargaining Agreement and have signed off on a Memorandum of Understanding which allows both sides to begin operations for the upcoming season.

With the Memorandum being signed off on at approximately 7:30 PM Pacific, trades and signings can begin for every NHL team beginning at 9:30 PM.

The NHL will release their schedule promptly and the season will begin next Saturday with all 30 NHL teams in action.
