Brett Kulak scored two goals including the shootout winner to help the Giants beat the Rebels 5-4 in Red Deer Friday night.

Jackson Houck scored midway through the third period to tie the game at 4 for the Giants.

Trevor Cheek and Cain Franson had the other shootout goals as well as tallies in the game.

The shots were 31 apiece in the game and Vancouver went 2-for-4 on the powerplay.
