Two power play goals in the opeing period and suffocating defence helped pace Team Canada to a 4-1 win over Russia in the final game of Group B play at the World Junior Hockey Championships in Russia.

Malcolm Subban turned aside 22 of 23 shots in the win for Canada, who move to a perfect 4-0 in tourney play and move straight to the Semi-Finals after winning their pool.  Canada allowed just five shots on goal in the third period to shut down Russia and move on to the semis.

Dougie Hamilton, Mark Schiefele, Jonathan Drouin and Jonathan Huberdeau scored for Canada in the victory.
