Team Canada's Ladies Soccer team has been named CP's Team of the Year for their inspiring Bronze Medal Performance at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

The team, led by CP Women's Athlete of the year and Lou Marsh Award winner Christine Sinclair, won the first medal in a team sport for Canada at a Summer Olympics in 76 years and could easily have won a gold or silver medal had it not been for the controversial 4-3 overtime loss to the Americans in the Olympic Semi-Final.

The Grey Cup Champion Toronto Argonauts were runners up, while the men's eight rowing team and Women's Hockey team were tied for third place.
