The National Hockey League has now cancelled all games through to January 14th, a total of 625 games in all. With the NHL previously stating that mid-January would be a minimum point to get a 48 game season in, this may be the last cancellation notice before the NHL cancels the season in mid-January. Both sides continue to say that they are prepared to talk, yet no meetings have been scheduled. The NHL and the PA have not met since December 6th.
